Sam Meador

Sam Meador is a professional pianist, guitarist, and composer. He is best known as the founder, lead vocalist, keyboardist, and composer of the Cinematic Black Metal band Xanthochroid. His diverse musical endeavors led him to create Erthe and Axen Studios as a platform to produce and release music videos, albums, and tutorials for his various projects and collaborations.

Sam’s solo work and unique percussive guitar style is admired by fans all over the world, and he achieved YouTube fame when his version of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” received over 2.5 million viewers.

Born and raised in Lake Forest, California, he currently resides in South Florida with his wife, Ali Meador, and the two often perform as a duo at festivals, restaurants, events, and private parties.
