Ken and Summer Gill are a father daughter duo hailing from Stuart, Fl. Their sound is an eclectic mix of genres spanning a variety of decades with an acoustic flair. Ken began his musical career in Virginia Beach at age 19 playing solo with an acoustic guitar in local bars. He then expanded these performances to Ashland Virginia where he performed in duos with fellow musician Bob Sesco where they got to open for many touring acts. Ken then moved south where he was in a series of bands in Alabama before relocating to Miami where he continued to perform both as a solo act and in bands. Ken has also played abroad while living in Peru and again in the Virgin Islands. Summer was inspired by her father and his musical background to begin performing herself. At age 11 she performed in a school talent show and hasn’t stopped since. She and her father have been performing together for the last 9 years in a number of bars, restaurants, festivals, and the like. She has since put together a solo act as well which she was able to perform in Tallahassee and Gainesville, Fl. Summer and her father have also performed together in Virginia and even London, England. Most recently Summer released her debut EP entitled Stormy Weather available on all digital platforms (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, GooglePlay, etc.) and Ken released a single called “The Fall of Jericho” available on YouTube now.
