Checkmate Band

Checkmate has been entertaining crowds along the Treasure Coast since 2013. The band has a great following and a great reputation for the finest classic rock in the area. The band consists of  members George Seiden ,Quinn Hendershot, Jim Hall, Russ Maxwell, as well as many who have come and gone over the last 6 years. But the core remains the same.

Quinn Hendershot: lead vocalist ,front man is extremely popular for his renditions of Bob Seger songs and is known for his outgoing friendly demeanor. Affectionately referred to as THE MAYOR.

George Seiden: bass and vocals is an accomplished player with a history of world tours with major recording acts. His bass playing certainly adds a solid dimension to the bands overall sound.

Jim Hall:guitar and vocals, Jim is a lifelong  and accomplished guitarist also having toured with major recording acts.

Russ Maxwell: guitar and vocals. Russ’s expertise on guitar is outstanding to say the least and has also toured the world with major recording artists considered by many as the best guitarist in the land.
